Tyres and Traction Course – Bill Basford – Consultant

Course Description
This half day course, presented by Bill Basford, Agricultural Mechanisation Consultant,  focuses on avoiding waste through traction inefficiencies and reducing the compaction effects improving overall soil management.

Course Content
The course includes:-

-           Examining wheels on all soils
-           Loads
-           Tyre pressures
-           Tyre selection
-           Compaction

This course aims to provide delegates with an improved appreciation of soils management and the effect on all vehicles working on the land.  This enables equipment to be operated more efficiently with soils and enhances energy management.
